Artistry Cartridge for CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop

Hello and welcome back for another installment of the CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop where this week we are bringing inspiration using the exclusive Artistry Cricut cartridge.  We have lots of fun in store for you so lets get started!  You should have arrived here from Corinna's blog but as always, blog hops are circular things so you are welcome to jump in at any point along the way and simply follow the links until you've made the rounds.  Now on to my project...

If you're a fan of CTMH products you have no doubt seen the lovely and versatile Happy Times promotional paper kit available just for the month of May in honor of National Scrapbooking Month.  I have to say, these papers and this cartridge are both so much fun to work with that I'm not sure which I love more!  This project was pretty simple and while I don't know if you can see it based on this photo, I manipulated the positioning of the deer head images in Design Space so that they would be cut in the middle of the variegated paper so as to have an ombre effect.  This is my first project featuring the very popular deer heads and I am loving the way this one looks on my living room wall so much that I may have to make another version when autumn rolls around.
